Holdem Assistant

As some of you may know, there are a lot of poker softwares available in todays market.  Many of these softwares claim to be the ultimate holdem aid or poker assistant.  Most commercial holdem assistant software packages overlay relevant stats of opponent behavior in the game screen.  Now, certainly this can be a very powerful tool to holdem players who can analyze this data to increase accurate and perfect poker play.  However, it is also very possible that the overlaying of stats can alter poker play in a negative manner.

For instance, relying too much on the stats could cause errors in play such as a weak call or improper fold in certain poker situations.  However, for the most part, playing with poker software gives the poker player a huge edge against players not overlaying stats.  If you play at cash game limits about 5/10 or tournaments over 50 dollar buy in, you can be assured that the majority of your opponents are using some sort of poker aid or assistant.  In my next post I will be talking about which holdem software is best to aid optimal poker play online, and how to use the best holdem assistant software to your advantage.

Hey everyone, Robin here, giving my first post on my new blog Holdem Assistant.  As some of you may know, I love to play holdem and other forms of poker all the time.  Whether online or in brick and mortar casinos I like to know that I’m playing with an edge against my opponents.  Well, if you’re like me maybe you’ve read some books on the subject of developing poker skills.  However, I recently found something that just completely changes the way I play holdem online.

I was searching the internet as usual, looking for ways to improve my holdem game when I stumbled upon a poker software, or poker aid if you will.  It was free to download the holdem assistant software so I decided to try it out.  I was completely blown away.  This poker software essentially gives you a bigger edge on the competition than any book, experience, or even one on one holdem training could.  The software automatically overlays player statistics in game.  And not just any statistics, these stats show you how often your opponents win showdowns, fold on the turn, continuation bet, anything you could ever want to know about your holdem opponents online.

After playing with the holdem assistant software I can’t even believe I was ever playing without it!  My online profits shot up 10 fold, because I generally play tournaments, and I was now cashing in the big money prizes.  All because I had all the information about my opponents at my finger tips ready to crush and destroy all holdem players unlucky enough to face me.
